INSURANCE INFORMATION
While I am not contracted with any insurance companies, depending on your eligibility, your insurance may reimburse you for a substantial part of my fee as an out-of-network provider. Please contact your insurance to inquire about your out-of-network coverage, single payer agreements, and limits for individual psychotherapy.
Professional Biography
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Washington State. I completed my doctoral study in clinical psychology at Seattle Pacific University and completed my pre-doctoral internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. I completed my post-doctoral internship at The Seattle Clinic. I am also a certified DBT therapist by the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification.
I have developed expertise in a wide variety of evidence-based therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), dialectical behavior therapy and prolonged exposure (DBT-PE), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral activation (BA) for depression and anxiety; as well as prolonged exposure (PE), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for PTSD. I also specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and offer reduced rates for Gender Affirming Surgery assessments and letters.
My research has focused on how coping strategy use and physiological responses impact engagement in self-harm, as well as how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted mental health, loneliness, and self-harm. I enjoy working with adolescents that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and adults of all ages.
Please note, I am NOT currently accepting new stage one DBT clients at this time.
